Pendant fixture line expanded to include olive green

Inspired by the shipyards of 19th century London, the Quad pendant pairs a linear frame with calming frame colors.

While retaining its familiar geometric form, the Quad pendant from Original OTC presents a new face to the historically inspired fixture. The olive green powder-coated finish serves as a counterpoint to the line's weathered and polished brass and satin and powdered nickel fixtures.

The shipyards of 19th century London served as inspiration for the Quad pendant, said Original BTC's Director, Charlie Bowles. “Users can feel relaxed in spaces illuminated by the olive Quad pendant. The polished brass metalwork provides an extra visual lift, making rooms feel more spacious and welcoming, and the subtle green finish further contributes to the soothing atmosphere.”

“The Olive Quad Pendant’s architectural silhouette is bold without being flashy, offering a calming color choice that suits various styles, Bowles continued. “It serves a functional purpose of perfectly illuminating the space while acting as a conversation piece that elevates the aesthetic of the room.”

The fixtures are hand-soldered and glazed at the company’s Oxfordshire factory. At home in any indoor location, Bowles said, the Olive pendant is suited for spaces where a classic look with a bit of color is desired.

While the company prioritizes making, “timeless pieces designed to last so hopefully they would never need to be recycled,” Bowles notes that because the fitting is made predominantly of glass and brass, 95% of the fitting could be recycled.
